Pets
Can I buy a pet online from Paaltu Jaanwar?
You can see our pets online and ask about them on WhatsApp, then meet them at our shop in Phase 5, DHA, Karachi before you decide. You pay at the shop after you have met the pet. We do not take advance payments for pets and we do not send them by courier.
Where do your pets come from?
Every pet on this website is offered by Paaltu Jaanwar Pet Shop itself. Ask us about any pet and we will tell you what we know about it, and show you the records we hold.
Should I pay an advance to hold a pet?
No. Do not send advance money or token money to anyone for a pet you have not met. Our staff will never ask you to send money for a pet to a personal account.
What records should I ask to see?
Ask for the vaccination card and deworming record with dates. We give you a written receipt with the pet’s details, the price and the date.
What happens if a pet falls ill after I bring it home?
See a vet straight away and keep the report. Tell us within 72 hours if the vet finds an illness that was likely present when you collected the pet, and we will work out a fair outcome with you. The Bringing a Pet Home Policy has the details.
Which animals do you not sell?
We do not sell protected or wild-caught animals, or puppies and kittens under about 8 weeks old.
Orders and delivery
How do I order pet food and supplies?
Add products to your cart and check out with your name, phone and address. We may confirm the order with you on WhatsApp, and you pay cash when it arrives.
Where do you deliver and what does it cost?
We deliver across Karachi. Delivery is PKR 250, and free on orders above PKR 5,000.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive within 1 to 3 working days after we confirm them. Heavy rain, road closures and busy sale periods can add time.
How do I pay?
Products are paid for in cash on delivery. You do not need a card, and we will never ask for card details, a PIN or a one-time code.
Can I return a product?
Tell us within 48 hours if an item is damaged, wrong or expired. Unused and unopened items can be returned within 7 days. Opened food and used items cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

Can I visit your shop?
Yes. Paaltu Jaanwar Pet Shop is at Shop No 4, Street 2, Plot No 3-C, Badar Commercial, Phase 5, DHA, Karachi. Message us before you come so that we can have the pet you want to meet ready.
Can I list my own pet or store here?
No. This is the website of our own shop, so we do not take listings from other people or stores.
